Q: Are Americans Confident a COVID-19 Vaccine Will Be Accessible to Those Who Want One?

A: Americans are more confident in local and state agencies (versus the federal government) regarding efficient distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines.

In our December 25-28 survey, we asked respondents how confident they were in the COVID-19 vaccine distribution efforts currently underway. Our results reveal that 45% of respondents are “somewhat” to “extremely” confident that the federal government will be able to “efficiently distribute a COVID-19 vaccine.”

However, we find that respondents are more confident in their local and state health departments’ abilities to efficiently distribute a vaccine (73% and 74% of respondents, respectively).
